Dry Dock Marine Opens New Shop — Marine Services Duncan BC | 2018

Back in the summer of 2018, Dry Dock Marine took a major step forward. We are proud to look back on the launch of our brand new facility, located at 5839 Duncan Street, Duncan BC — the beginning of what would become one of Vancouver Island’s most trusted marine service operations. Notably, this marked the official start of the DDM story as a full-service marine facility serving boaters across the Cowichan Valley and beyond.

Full Marine Services for Every Boater

From day one, Dry Dock Marine set out to provide a full array of marine services for every customer who walked through our doors. Consequently, members’ boats received dedicated full-time employees assigned specifically to their vessels — ensuring consistent, high-quality work on every job. In addition, this model allowed DDM to set a new standard in the marine services industry on Vancouver Island, one that prioritized attention to detail, accountability, and craftsmanship above all else.

How DDM Got Started

The 2018 shop launch was just the beginning. Furthermore, what started as a single location on Duncan Street grew into the Dry Dock Marine Group — a cooperative of marine professionals delivering unmatched services to boat owners across BC. As a result, today DDM offers everything from full restorations and repowers to detailing, shrink wrapping, electrical work, and boat sales, all under one roof.
