Dry Dock Marine provides a full array of marine services for everyone who walks through our doors. Members boats will have dedicated full-time employees assigned to their boats. This will insure that we are always setting the standard in the marine services industry. Members will receive a discounted shop labor rate of $79. All walk-in clientele will be given the options to sign up for membership but will otherwise pay $89 per/hr. Members are responsible for all costs incurred for mechanical maintenance.

Cleanliness above all will also help to keep pests out of members boats, insure that mold and mildew don’t infest the boats while in storage, and over the course of the first few seasons in our storage facility members boats will become easier to maintain. Shrink Wrapping Services

Custom tailored, reusable shrink covers with materials up to 10 mil thick product for extended life. Covers are made to fit each boat with a drawstring at base of cover for ease of removal. Optional door available for re-entry while vessel is covered.

 

Keeping your investment protected from the elements is our main objective here. A well-kept boat will keep its value and help to insure the internal structure of your boat is dry and mold free. Further ensuring that your boat is safe for use every time. On most occasions, a fitted cover on an average size boat with tower equates to around $20 per/ft. Every boat is different some small, some tall. For this reason, Dry Dock Marine will not quote pricing without seeing the boat which is to be covered. Outdoor storage starts at $7 per/ft LOA makes all the extras that DDM offers available to them as members. Of course, this also allows DDM members to load their boats at a completely different location, anywhere on Vancouver Island.

 

Almost all DDM storage tiers come with free logistics for your boat. This is perfect for those who park their boats at their summer home, but need winter storage, maintenance, and logistics taken care of. If you have storage for your boat on location at your summer or year-round home, we also have an option for non-storage members as well.

Starting at $45 per/hr,  one of our crew member will spend a minimum 4 hours  cleaning your vessel. If you are just passing through and only have a day or two, DDM will send up to four of our crew members out to make sure the job is done expediently.

Safety First

All safety equipment including; EPIRBs, fire suppression equipment, flares, PFDs, life rafts, and so on will be available to purchase through Dry Dock Marine. Any out of date equipment aboard member boats will have the owners notified, and the situation rectified before their next voyage. We will give members the re-assurance that if they are out on the water and a storm blows in, they can find the nearest safe harbor and call the Dry Dock Marine team to load their boat at said safe harbor.

 

As membership grows, equipment capital will include a selection of Satellite phones for out members to rent. This will further insure our members safety. We will offer boat driving lessons for novice members who are just getting into the lifestyle. Salt Water Wash-Down Service
