Engine & Performance

Power comes from a Mercury Mercruiser 350 Mag 5.7L delivering 300 horsepower. As a result, this Cobalt is a high-performance machine capable of exceeding 50 mph on the water. Despite its performance credentials, the hull design provides a stable, comfortable and safe ride for families and passengers. As of June 20, 2020, the engine had just 281 hours recorded.

Ownership & History

The boat was purchased new from Rayburns Marine in Kelowna in 2009 by one single owner, Paul Manning. Paul used the boat exclusively in fresh water on Cowichan Lake and had it professionally winterized and stored indoors in Duncan every winter. In addition, full maintenance records are available. The boat was sold by Paul's son, Dave Manning, on behalf of Paul's widow.

Gel Coat Condition

The interior and exterior of this Cobalt were in immaculate shape at the time of sale. Between 2016 and 2019, the gel coat was under-maintained due to limited local vendor expertise, resulting in a larger restoration invoice in May 2019 completed by Dry Dock Marine. That invoice was an outlier — not representative of typical annual upkeep. Furthermore, an additional detail service was completed in May 2020 in preparation for sale, leaving the boat in near-new cosmetic condition.
