Josh
VP of Operations, CMO
Josh grew up in the Cowichan valley and boating has been in his DNA since a very early age. He had his first kiss on a pile of lifejackets in a v-berth of a boat in Cowichan Bay at age 5. His parents founded “Scenic Marine Charters” in the mid 80’s and then his father progressed into the world of commercial fishing. Several boats later, a 42′ steel hull was pulled home on a big truck, where the birth of a 5 year boat building project was born. Josh learned valuable skills from his father building the “Nev’r E Nuff”. Josh & Luc have been friends since 1993 and have worked on a few automotive projects together in High School.
Fast forward to 2006, Josh managed Popeye’s Marine & Catalog Shop in North Vancouver for 7 years. He purchased his first boat that same year, a 17.5 Campion Alert and did a full restoration on the boat. Josh had the pleasure of exploring lakes and waterways around the south coast and was a member of the Vancouver Water Ski Club. Josh also managed the services department of Captain’s Corner in Salmon Arm, BC as being a sales rep for a Marine & RV LED lighting company. Prior to Josh coming on board with DDM, He was Senior Sales Consultant at M&P Mercury Sales Ltd for almost 7 years and had the pleasure of helping many families find their perfect boat and make their boating dreams come true. Josh is thrilled to be teaming up with one of his best friends to help grow Dry Dock Marine Group to its greatest potential.
